There will be a meeting for all girls 6th - 8th grade (who aren't playing up) that are interested in playing softball this summer in Mrs. Blackford's room TOMORROW, APRIL 27TH after school. We will be done by 4:00. If you are interested in playing and can't make the meeting, please see Mrs. Blackford today or tomorrow. See the yellow flier around the middle school for the Band QR code.

The 7th and 8th Grade Spring Band Concert is tonight at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. Admission is free. Band members should dress up and be in the band room by 6:30 PM to warm up their instruments.

Reminder: Tomorrow is neon day at school. Come decked out in your best neon outfits.

Any current 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student who is interested in flags should attend the meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 AM in the 7-12 band room. Any student who cannot attend the meeting will need to talk to Mrs. Kelso for more information.

The SCC Choir Festival in Knoxville has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather. They are back at school and are attending class as normal.

Congratulations to SCC MS Honor Band Members! Participants included Mallory Tidman, Emma Arnold, Oliver Hay, Isabell Hay, Maddie Youngs, Daisy Escudero, Joanna Severiano, Vanessa Vargas, Olivia Vargas, and Essa Jones Clark. They performed in a great concert last night in Albia!

Congratulations to ALL of the performers at the Clarke 7-8 Solo & Ensemble Festival last night! Outstanding Performance Awards were earned by Liliana Contreras & Parker Truitt for their clarinet duet, Ivan Greif for his snare drum solo, and Mallory Tidman for her bari sax solo!


Good luck to all of the band students performing tonight at the 7th & 8th grade solo festival! Performers should dress up and arrive at school with their fan club at least 15 minutes before their scheduled performance time.

Due to inclement weather, Clarke CSD will be closed with no nighttime activities. Be safe.

The MS/HS Jazz Band Concert is tonight at 7 PM in the auditorium. This free performance is required for all jazz band participants. MS Jazz Band Members should dress up and be in the band room by 6:30 PM to warm up their instruments.
