MS/HS parents & guardians: The drop off and pick up point for all students is the northwest end of the HS student parking lot. We would appreciate it if no one drives around the building who does not have to be on the main campus. This will help greatly improve the flow of bus traffic in and out of the MS/HS campus areas before and after school. The doors will not open until 7:45. HS students should use the auditorium entrance (32), MS students should use the middle school entrance (31). No other entrances should be used.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 27th with a 2-hour early dismissal.

The social worker's clothing pantry is currently at capacity and will not be accepting new donations until further notice. If your student is in need of clothing, please contact Allison Hemesath at: ahemesath@clarke.k12.ia.us.

Good Afternoon, It's going to be even more important this year to have access to the most updated calendar for school activities. The Clarke Activities Department uses something called rSchool for scheduling. The hard copy of athletic schedules is only accurate the minute they were printed. We are strongly encouraging you to use our web-based system to be able to have access at your fingertips to the most updated calendar. When events change, I change it within rSchool and it updates the calendar automatically. Information about how to access your child's OTUS account was sent via email earlier today to the parent/guardian email addresses on file in Infinite Campus. Middle school students who will be learning virtually may pick up their Chromebooks in the middle school office next Monday-Wednesday between 8-4.

The Clarke school board has voted to delay the first day of school to Thursday, August 27th.

Due to orientations cancelled at the middle and high school, students will receive schedules and additional information the first day of school in their Advisory class. Students will report to Advisory at the beginning of the school day August 24th. Tours of the building will be during Advisory the first day of school at staggered times. Due to Covid safety, visitors will not be allowed in Clarke school buildings, and parents will only be allowed as far as each school’s main office. Thank you for your cooperation.

Freshman orientation has been cancelled. Chromebooks for freshmen will be handed out on the 24th/25th of August during school hours. Thank you for your understanding. If you have already informed the school that your 9th grade student intends to attend virtually, contact the office for information about picking up your student's Chromebook.

6th and 7th grade orientation will be held on Thursday, August 20th. 6th grade orientation is from 6-7:15 PM. 7th grade orientation is from 7:15-8:30 PM. Enter at the middle school entrance (entrance 31). Students will be receiving a copy of their schedule, and take a tour of the building. Tours will take approximately 15 minutes, and students may come during any point during their time slot. We are asking that only students attend, no parents or siblings at this time. Students must have a mask on while in the building.

Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, the freshman orientation, MS orientation, and all in-building open houses have been cancelled. The elementary drive up open house is still happening on Wednesday, August 19th.

The middle school orientation scheduled for August 20th has been cancelled. Chrome books will be handed out in the second day of school.
