Miss Norman's 3rd grade class participated in the process of candling eggs for day 13's activity. Students were very excited to see the veins and the developing embryo! Especially after the set back of a rotten egg exploding in incubator #1.

Bright yellow spot at the bottom of the egg is the air sac, where the chick will get its first breath of air inside the egg!
Black part of the egg is the baby chick. The veins carry food to the chick!
