Updated results from 2/16 a the state wrestling meet. Junior Cole Binning went 1-1 yesterday and brought his season to an end. Great season Cole! Senior KJ Fry lost his only match yesterday which sent him to the consolation bracket. He still has more opportunities to wrestle today, and has a chance to finish top 8 and medal. Good luck to KJ on his matches today!! One last thank you to these two young men for making our whole community proud!.

Updates from state wrestling. Kj Fry went 2-0 on the day with pins in both of his matches. Cole Binning lost a close one in his one match today. Both boys will be back at it again tomorrow. Great job today and way to make us all proud!!

Congrats to Clarke Juniors Ashton Giza and Shay Mathews, for qualifying as individuals for the boys state bowling tournament. They will get to bowl next Tuesday in Waterloo. Good luck Ashton and Shay!

Congrats to Clarke Senior Lila Jones, for qualifying as an individual for the girls state bowling tournament. She will get to bowl next Tuesday in Waterloo. Good luck Lila!

There will be a pep bus for any 9th through 12th grade student wishing to attend the 1st round of state wrestling on Wednesday, Feb. 15th. Each student will need to purchase their own ticket online @ www.iahssa.org. The cost to ride the bus will be $5.00 for any non wrestler, cheerleader or coach and this needs to be paid to Mrs. Brimm before Wed. Wells Fargo is a cashless arena. If you want something to eat or drink you have to use a debit or credit card. The bus will leave at 11:45 from the main HS entry. Your parents will still need to call you into the HS office that you have their permission to attend. Also, parents please know that your students will NOT be back in time to catch the 3:25 buses home.

The MS wrestling meet at Chariton for today has been cancelled. We have also added a wrestling meet at Mount Ayr on Thursday 1/19. That meet begins at 4:00 PM.

Today's High School bowling meet will now begin at 4 PM.
