Congratulations to all of the 7th and 8th grade jazz band members for their enjoyable concert last week!

The 7th--12th Grade Jazz Band Concert is tonight at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. Admission is free. This performance is required for all 7th and 8th grade jazz band members. Students should dress up in the best clothes that they have and be in the band room by 6:30 PM to warm up their instruments.
We are sending a HUGE good luck to Jeb, Juan, Bryce, and Coach Mike as they head out to compete in the 3v3 Special Olympics competition this weekend! We know you’ve been working hard and we can’t wait to see you shine!

Judging for the 2026 Youth Art Month (YAM) Show took place on January 31, and we are proud to announce that three Clarke students had artwork accepted into the show: Emmanuel Gomez-Corona (10), Arri Day (9), and Hali Nelson (7). Their work will be displayed alongside more than 100 pieces of student artwork from across Iowa.
Congratulations to Arri Day, who earned 2nd Place in the High School division and received a BLICK Art Supplies gift card.
The Youth Art Month Show will be on display at Jordan Creek Mall from March 1–28. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 28, and families and community members are invited to attend. Registration begins at noon, with time to view the artwork and enjoy the mall. The awards ceremony will start at 1:00 PM and continue until all students have been recognized.
If you are in the Des Moines area, we encourage you to stop by and view the show to see our students’ work, along with some of the best K–12 artwork from across the state.

These ten students represented Clarke well with other students in our conference and performed a concert for friends and family at 1:00 PM

Although the event was shortened due to weather, these three students represented Clarke well with students from across the state to perform a concert for friends and family Saturday at 1:00 PM
