This past school year, the Clarke Athletic Department was contacted by the Elliot Oil Company out of Ottumwa regarding a fundraising opportunity. Elliot Oil partnered with both Indian Hills and Ottumwa High School to benefit from this type of a fundraiser. For every gallon of gas purchased at the "Clarke" pump, Elliot Oil would donate 2 cents per gallon to our Athletic Department.
This pump was activated the middle of April and even though the traffic on the Interstate was slowed down to COVID-19, the Athletic Department earned $2,047.26 by the first week in August.
The Clarke Athletic Department is excited for this partnership to continue. Please stop out and fill up your gas tank at the "Clarke" pump whenever you can.
