The Clarke Boys' Bowling team finally got to compete at the state qualifying meet in Council Bluffs on Wednesday after having the meet postponed on Monday due to the extreme temperatures.  Ashton Giza garnered the top individual score, posting a 222 and 288 for a 510 total. Ashton qualifies for the 1A State Individual Bowling Tournament held in Waterloo next Wednesday afternoon.  Jayden Giza and Austin Gonseth finished 4th and 5th respectively in the individual competition.

In the team competition, Clarke had a narrow lead going into the Baker games, but Shenandoah got hot and pulled away with the team championship with a score of 2763 to Clarke's 2729.

Congratulations to the team on a fine season and good luck to Ashton next week.
