Congratulations to the Clarke Speech Team! Saturday they competed for a chance to go to Nationals Speech and Debate Association’s National Contest this summer. Qualifying for Nationals is Kennedy and Ely in Duo Interpretation, Gracie in Program of Oral Interpretation, Calhoun in Humorous Interpretation and Lexi in Dramatic Interpretation. We also had a couple alternates to nationals. The team placed second in sweepstake points against the big boys losing only to Iowa City West. Kennedy also one East Iowa Senior of the Year award! That is a great day for Clarke Speech!
Clarke Speech Advances Several to Nationals
