April Youngs

I graduated from Fort Osage High School in Independence, Missouri in 2000. I ventured my way up to Iowa to Graceland University where I graduated in 2004 with my BA in education. I am currently working on my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University.

I was the Clarke Learning Center teacher for 4 years and this is my 6th year at Clarke. I am now the high school reading teacher. I am so excited to be teaching at Clarke Community Schools and begin this new journey as the reading teacher. I have a passion for teaching and look forward each and every year teaching at Clarke.

I have a fiance, Cody and we both reside in Osceola. I have two children, Riley, 11 and Maddie, 7 and my fiance has two children, Madison, 7 and Michael, 4. They keep me very busy and I wouldn't have it any other way! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and watching sports. Go Royals! Go Chiefs! Go Hawks!

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
