I have 18 years of teaching experience, including the past 11 at Clarke. I helped start the alternative school and spent 10 years as lead teacher. This year I have transferred to the high school social studies position where I teach Government, World History I and II, Global Studies, and Geography. I currently coach Middle School Girls' Basketball and have held a number of coaching positions. I officiate a number of sports.
My wife Lisa and I have raised a son, Mike, and two daughters, Michelle and Morgan, who have all graduated from Clarke. Mike and Michelle are off working and raising families. They have blessed us with six grandchildren. Morgan will graduate from the University of Iowa this year.
