Mrs. Holmes's Home Page
I graduated from Buena Vista University December of 2004. I have a BA in Elementary Education with several endorsements. My future plans are to obtain a Masters degree in Education.
I have been a teacher for 8 years with 7 years here at Clarke. I teach the Life Skills classroom grades 9-12. I have enjoyed teaching at Clarke. It is exciting teaching students to cook, clean, take care of themselves, and obtain good work ethics. My room would not run as smoothly or efficiently without the assistance of para educators, Dana Irving and Kimberly Ladd.
My husband, Rod, and I have been married 34 years. We have 2 grown sons, Chad and Travis, and their wives Jamie and Cassie. We have been blessed with 4 grandsons: Tristan 12, Darrian 10, Kaidan 9, Traivyn 8 and our little princess, Cortlynn 5. We all live in Kellerton so we are together a lot.
My hobbies and interests center around my family. We have baseball, football, basketball, dance, ATV racing, and 4x4 mud running. In my quiet time, which there is little of, I like to read, cook, and garden.
