I was raised in Osceola and attended Clarke Community Schools K-12 graduating in 1991. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education as well as in Special Education. I also attained a Master of Education degree in Quality Teaching and Learning from Graceland University in 2009.
I began teaching Special Education in the fall of 1996 at Clarke Elementary. Then in 2001 I began teaching Second Grade and spent 13 years with that position. Now I am teaching Title Reading and Math students in several grades. Working with children is my passion and I love the time spent in the classroom.
Family is an important part of my life. I enjoy spending time with husband, Norm, and my two daughters, Alexa and Elayna. I love to read, ride my bike and go for walks outside. It is my goal to make the most of everyday and make a positive difference in the lives that I touch.
